Village on Shields is located on the northwest corner of Shields Street and Horsetooth Road. This property is comprised of 285 apartment homes across three apartment communities: Willow Grove, Rose Tree and Hickory Hill.
Operation Renovate Information
Village on Shields will be undergoing a major rehabilitation beginning in September 2017. Residents at Rose Tree, Hickory Hill and Willow Grove will be moved temporarily while apartments are renovated.

How much notice will I get before I have to move?
At least 30 days, probably more.
How will my move work?
We will provide you with all moving supplies. We have a professional moving company and a relocation expert coordinating all the moves. The coordinator, Magaly, will meet with each of you before your move.
Who packs my boxes?
You are responsible for packing your boxes. If you require assistance, please contact us.
Who will move my stuff?
The professional moving company will move your belongings after you have packed.
Where will I move?
Most people will temporarily move into another apartment on-site. Some people may temporarily move to another Villages apartment community. We will tell you where you are moving when we meet with you.
How long will I be in my temporary apartment?
Who pays for moving expenses?
We will pay for all the costs associated with your move.
Where will my mail go?
You will keep your current mailbox.
What about my utilities (electric and gas)?
All utilities will be setup in the company’s name and ready for you when you move into your temporary apartment. You will need to keep the utilities on at your current apartment. Cable and internet – either one or both will be provided and this is still in negotiations with the provider.
What are the renovations being done to my apartment?
