The housing authority is overseen by a Board of Commissioners appointed by the Wellington Town Board and managed by Housing Catalyst per an intergovernmental agreement. In 2021, the Wellington Housing Authority completed a Section 18 disposition of its public housing properties which are now owned by Wellington Community Housing.
