Housing Catalyst has been awarded $100,000 through the Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund to provide behavioral health support for residents in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) at Mason Place and Redtail Ponds. The grant will be used to support an on-site behavioral health clinician, who will serve 120 residents.
These residents often face complex mental health and substance use challenges as they transition from chronic homelessness. The clinician will provide therapy, crisis response, and care coordination, with a goal of resolving 80% of crisis events directly on-site. These services dramatically reduce the need for emergency medical services, law enforcement intervention, and hospital emergency departments.
PSH combines affordable housing assistance with voluntary support services, a proven model that increases housing stability and improves health outcomes while remaining cost-effective.
2025 Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund
The Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund uses behavioral health tax revenue to award annual grants that strengthen community-based behavioral health services. In the latest round of funding, Housing Catalyst was honored to be selected as one of the recipients—joining a growing network of 77 unique organizations that have collectively received $17.7 million in support since the program began in 2019. This initiative continues to play a vital role in helping Larimer County fulfill its commitment to improving behavioral health care across the region.
We have received grant funding from Larimer County Behavioral Health Services in the past and are looking forward to continuing to provide the support services that have been made possible by this generous investment.
