Bohemian Foundation has awarded Housing Catalyst a $20,000 Bohemian Fund grant to support Camp Catalyst.

Camp Catalyst is a summer camp program for Housing Catalyst residents entering grades 3-5. Through structured educational activities and personal development opportunities, Camp Catalyst aims to mitigate summer learning loss, increase social emotional skills, and create a sense of belonging among campers. This summer the program has expanded to include residents of all Housing Catalyst properties. A new camp manager will be designing fun and engaging activities to help campers explore the arts, discover science, and make new friends.

Bohemian Fund believes in creating an equitable community where everyone belongs. The fund make grants to organizations that build equity into their work in three areas:

  • Ensuring all youth thrive.
  • Promoting economic stability and mobility.
  • Cultivating a vibrant, engaged, and connected community.
