Congratulations to JumpStart participant Michelle Pennyworth for receiving the 2025 NAHRO Merit College Scholarship! Michelle will be entering the pre-law program at Colorado State University and hopes to attend law school at the University of Colorado in the future.
Housing Catalyst’s JumpStart program offers a structured pathway for participants like Michelle to achieve their dreams and build a stronger future. JumpStart Coordinators support participants in working toward goals in education, employment, financial literacy, health and wellness, and more. JumpStart participants learn new life skills and connect with resources that can support them on their journey, like the NAHRO scholarship program.
The NAHRO Merit College Scholarship is awarded annually to one student from each of NAHRO’s eight regions. Each scholar is pursuing their first post-secondary degree, and is either a resident of, or receiving a housing-related service from, a NAHRO member agency.
