Money Matters Passport Challenge

Welcome to your Money Matters Passport Challenge resource page. Use this hub to track your tasks, find helpful tools, and access everything you need to complete your passport. Only the first 60 people to complete the challenge will earn $100, so be sure to complete yours early!

How the Challenge Works

  • Step 1: Register and complete the Pre‑Survey (registration closes May 1, 2026)
  • Step 2: Choose 3 financial goals that matter to you from the list of tasks on your passport
    • These must be new goals, not tasks you’ve completed previously
  • Step 3: Complete your passport goals using the resources below or by finding your own resources
  • Step 4: Send in documentation of completing your passport goals by June 30, 2026
  • Step 5: Finish the Post‑Survey
  • Step 6: Earn $100 toward your financial future

Your Passport Tasks

Mandatory Tasks

  • Register for the challenge and complete pre-survey

  • Complete post-survey (will be emailed to you after you submit documentation of goal completion)

Financial Goals – Choose Any Three

Your chosen goals must be new challenges you haven’t already completed prior to taking part in the Money Matters Passport Challenge.

Obtain 2 badges in Zogo

Open savings account and/or achieve $50 savings balance

Documentation requirement: Evidence of savings accounts established and/or $50 balance

Make 3 savings deposits over 3 consecutive months

Documentation requirement: bank statement showing 3 consecutive months of deposits

Participate in a financial literacy workshop

Documentation requirement: evidence of engagement (email from provider, certificate, gift card receipt)

Complete a 1-month budget

Must include a spending/tracking or debt savings plan

Documentation requirement: budget form, hand-written or app

File 2025 Taxes

Documentation Requirement: confirmation page screenshot or email

Receive one-on-one financial coaching or benefit enrollment support

Documentation Requirement: Evidence of engagement (email from provider, certificate, gift card receipt)

Raise credit score by 25 points

Documentation requirement: documentation of credit score change (screenshots, credit apps)

Establish a formal retirement account

Documentation requirement: Proof of enrollment from Accredited Financial Provider

Connect with an education or employment services provider

Documentation requirement: evidence of engagement-email from provider regarding services rendered
