Project Overview

Housing Catalyst has embarked upon an exciting new development in downtown Fort Collins. The former site of the Elks building will be transformed into affordable housing for people with income at or below 80% of the area median income. This development will reflect Housing Catalyst’s commitment to sustainability while incorporating high quality design and materials.

Housing Catalyst  will form a tax credit partnership to develop, own, and manage the housing. The building will contain 78 apartments on levels 3-6. Parking will be on Level 2. The first level of the building will contain commercial and office space. The majority of the apartments will be studios and one-bedroom apartments with a smaller number of two-bedroom apartments.  The desire is to target people working in and around downtown. The overall income average will be 60% AMI with the following mix:
